FYI, typo in opening paragraph. Panthers won 6-2 over Calgary.

Undefeated in 2022, let's hope that the Cats can take advantage of a rusty Stars team tonight. A road win will go a long way to getting the Panthers fully back on track.

The 3 areas for improvement heading into the new year for the Panthers were:
1. Power play
2. Face off win % (particularly on the power play)
3. Road performance

We need to show real progress in these areas if we're looking for success in the playoffs.

We've seen the beginning of improvement in power play and face offs. Tonight is a good opportunity to put a W on the road record.

Bob owes them many big saves now after that mess up. Those dumb plays make me so mad. Hes not even good at playing the puck why does he do it so often?

The duke has been very ineffective tonight

We are so poop in the shootout. We come in way too slow and bob cant save nothin down low

Bob with a bit of the leaky wickets tonight, especially in shootout. And he kind of sucks handling the puck, that’s not the first time he’s left them in a bad spot when leaving his crease. Too often an adventure begins after Bob plays the puck. That being said, they still should’ve been able to prevent the shot that eventually went in after Bob’s gaffe.

That was awesome sustained pressure with Bob pulled. They owned the puck for 2 minutes before finally getting one past Holtby. Holtby made a lot of good saves and FL missed too many other chances to bury a goal. They couldn’t out score their mistakes tonight.

Time to get rid of Tippett. He does nothing for this team!!

The puck is bouncing like a basketball, though. Guys just falling down several times already, too.
Panthers gotta cash in on this pressure they’re creating right now.


Edit, Canes defender just tripped and fell while pivoting in the nz leading to the Verhaeghe goal. Barkov got hit at center just before because puck bouncing on it’s way to him. Ice looks like it really sucks

Dammm, missed the start of the second, & Verhaeghe quickly scored again.

Gotta take advantage of canes on back to back with 3rd string goalie need some insurance
